In the wake of changing global practices and innovations taking place at speed of light in the education sector, AFAQ decided to upgrade and uplift our schools as per the international standards and best practices. We launched an idea to develop systems for school improvement in the area of quality management systems, character building, career counseling and instructional supervision.
Achievements
Time Line
2007 – Inception of Model School Development Program (MSDP) to facilitate the schools to develop management and academic systems. 150+ national and international schools were benchmarked for the research purpose.
2008 – Conduction of first Educational Pre-Audit in Pakistan. Selection of four schools in four provinces of Pakistan. It was initiation of the activity to analyze the situation regrading strengths and inadequacies at the school and give recommendations for improvements.
2009 – Development of various feasibilities and launching of consultancy services to establish new schools by the corporate sector to perform their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
2010 – Started working on Career Counseling and Guidance for the school students so they could decide their future aspirations early. The system goes hi-tech with introduction of various software and IT tools.
2011 – Career counseling with the help of psychometric testing and 4 other tests has been piloted and data were gathered from across Pakistan.
2012 – Started working on second cycle of Character Building activities to inculcate the adequate tarbiyya of students regarding core values.
2013 – Transformation from MSDP to AFAQ Educational Services. Provided consultancy to a school in UAE so they could qualify the external audit of KHDA.
2014 – Certifications Team members got certifications from SGS and become certified lead auditors. Started working on mass level across the country in 24 offices.
2015 – Educational Pre-Audits were conducted in Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA). Career Counseling and Guidance tests were conducted across Pakistan on mass level.
2016 –AWARD Educational Pre-Audits got recognition by winning the SATHA innovation award for EPA tools for school analysis. In a nationwide survey, Educational Services got outstanding feedback from clients.
2017 – (Validations) – Career Counseling and Guidance Test was endorsed and validated by Pakistan Psychology Association (PPA).
2018 – Due to immense requirement of schools, printed material for character building activities was printed in bulk and thousands of students got benefited from the easy and approachable quality manuals and fun activities. School consultancies were initiated to provide facilitation regarding Human Resource and other management areas.
2020 – (Digitalization) – As per the need of time and sensing future, set up various services and products on E-platform ensuring ubiquity of AFAQ Educational Services.
