AFAQ aims to shape the future of education ensuring the international standards as well as character building. After a thorough esearch, AFAQ Research has designed a comprehensive curriculum at elementary level in all subjects. It aims to provide modern learning opportunities for the young learners as well as to instill in them moral values. AFAQ curriculum has been designed in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Government of Pakistan. To ensure quality, AFAQ Research Division conducted a thorough comparative study of foreign curricula taught in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, India, etc. In all learning disciplines, core competences along with specific outcomes have been mentioned. Activity-based learning has been focused to emphasis outcome-based learning.
At present, AFAQ's curriculum is being taught in thousands of schools countrywide. Besides, AFAQ's Research Division is reviewing the curriculum and it has formed a committee which is tasked with creating a more comprehensive and effective curriculum meeting the challenges of the dynamic world of knowledge and education.
Quality assurance refers to systematic monitoring and evaluation of the various aspects of a project, service, or facility to ensure that standards of quality are being met. Quality assurance in AFAQ is to enhance the quality and effectiveness of curriculum development through continuous monitoring and evaluation. QA develops tools for evaluation of curriculum development. This is also to ensure the curriculum is in conformity with National Curriculum Policy. Quality Assurance monitors the physical features and content of the textbooks.
AFAQ through its quality assurance unit, ensures and maintains high standards of quality in its training programs under the quality parameters defined by ISO 9000-2008. The process of quality assurance in training comprises the following stages shown in the below flow chart:
